I was assigned the Whole Earth Catalog as a design landmark and had to connect it to earlier works like Popular Mechanics and The Human Use of Human Beings and later ones like Radical Software and S,M,L,XL. All of them share themes of innovation and DIY, which I reflected through a scientific touch in the design.
