A two-poster series using windup toys as a lens for examining compliance. The first poster dissects the mechanical interior of a windup toy, cataloging springs, gears, and keys. The second poster applies this same logic to a person, mapping out the components that construct someone who always follows rules, who moves only when wound up by external forces.
